Structural characteristics, as reflected by the parties on both sides, again show up as being significant in determination of the final terms of trade. WHERE IS AGRICULTURE POSITIONED ON THE SCALE? The picture of agriculture which has been painted shows very clearly an agriculture that from a structural standpoint is much closer to the tenets of the competitive model than are the input suppliers and those who purchase agricultural products.
